Project Brief
Racking365 (UK) Ltd were asked to assist the client with moving their existing racking from their current location to a new premises they had just aquired, while adding further racking to maximise the storage area. Due to the need for additional storage space, time was of the essence. Therefore, there were multiple meetings and conversations within a short time period to gain the correct understanding to provide the right solution that would allow them to expand and grow their business.
The Products Used
Due to the client already having AR pallet racking, it was agreed that the best solution would be to use new AR materials to add to their existing. Due to their safety requirements, we also added new rack end barriers to all exposed ends, and Rack Armour column guards throughout.
The Solution
Through consultation with the client, we were able to design and create a new warehouse layout to hold approx. 700 pallets that maximised the storage potential, but also left room for future expansion. Watch this space…
